A Magical Summer at Mercy

A Magical Summer at Mercy is open to rising 6th—9th grade girls.

Campers will be coached and instructed by Mercy faculty and coaches, area professionals, and Mercy Girl athletes. A Magical Summer at Mercy provides a wonderful opportunity for your daughter to see what it’s like to be an actor, dancer, cheerleader, Women in Technology student, or student-athlete at Mercy!   • Basketball Camp: June 16-19

    At Mercy’s basketball camp, you’ll have lots of fun, build friendships, and dramatically improve your game! No matter your ability level, you’ll build on fundamentals like dribbling, passing, shooting, rebounding, blocking, and stealing. You’ll learn the mental side of basketball and game strategies that you’ll transfer into game-like experiences.

  • Cyber Security Camp: June 23-27

    June 23-27, 2025

    Do you have an interest in technology? Have we got the opportunity for you! Dive into the cyber security, technological ethics, online safety, and basic security principles while you prepare for the CyberPatriot National Youth Cyber Competition! During this camp, you’ll also learn about virtual machines, account management, and computational thinking and programming as you dive into Linux, Ubuntu, GUI, and Windows security and file protections. You don’t want to miss out on this exciting chance to discover what it’s like to be a Women in Technology student at Mercy!

    This camp includes all technology, software, and materials for use while on Mercy High School’s campus. Participants should bring lunch each day. Registration for this camp closes on June 13, 2025.
  • Field Hockey: June 23-26

    $200

    Improve your field hockey game at Mercy’s four-day field hockey camp while having fun and building friendships. Through a variety of field hockey drills, you’ll practice important techniques including dribbling, passing and receiving, ball control, shooting, defensive tackling, positioning, and scanning and tracking. Beyond the fundamentals, our coaches will take your game further with offensive and defensive tactics, game strategies, and positional changes. You’ll use what you’ve learned in full-field games.

  • Dance Camp: June 30-July 3

    June 30-July 3, 2025
    5:00 p.m.–7:30 p.m.
    Dance Studio in The Harry and Jeanette Weinberg Auditorium
    $200

    Keep your dance training moving forward this summer by dancing at Mercy! Students will work with professional instructors offering technique classes in the genres of ballet and modern dance, as well as additional classes in jazz, hip hop, improvisation, and composition. Dancers will also explore stretching techniques and strength and conditioning. Limited space is available. This camp is open to girls entering grades 6-9. A minimum of two years previous dance experience is required.

    Calling all cheerleaders! If you’re looking to brush up on fundamentals, we’ve got the camp for you! Beginning and experienced cheerleaders are invited to learn new motions, jumps, cheers, stunts, and dance routines through this exciting opportunity!

Learn defensive and offensive fundamentals and develop game strategies. Athletes will build on their serving, passing, setting, blocking, digging, and hitting skills; ball control; footwork; and speed to give them an advantage on the court.

  • Acting Intensive: July 21-25

    Mercy High School’s Acting Intensive provides students in grades 7-9 the opportunity to practice and enhance their theatrical skills onstage during a weeklong process. Students will focus on building skills to audition and perform onstage. Morning activities will focus on skills building in characterization, musical theatre, improvisation, and prop/costume making. Afternoon sessions will focus solely on performance pieces for the culminating showcase. Students should come prepared on the first day of camp with a monologue and a song to audition for parts in the showcase.

    This camp is open to students of all abilities. Registration closes on July 11, 2025.
  • Soccer Camp: August 4-August 7

    5:00 p.m.–7:30 p.m.

    $200

    Build your confidence, communication, and cooperation on the soccer field at Mercy’s soccer fundamentals camp. No matter your ability level, you’ll have fun and be challenged during drills and mock games. From speed and agility training to team and individual drills, you’re sure to improve every aspect of your soccer game and prepare well for high school soccer tryouts.

    This camp is for all ability levels. Registration closes on July 25, 2025.
If you must cancel a camp for ANY reason before May 16, 2025, you will receive a 100% refund of payment, less a $10 administrative fee per camp per child. Cancellations from May 17–31, 2025 will be refunded 50%. There are no refunds for any reason after May 31, 2025. If Mercy cancels for any reason, you will be refunded. All camps are subject to a minimum enrollment requirement.
