Giving

Welcome!

The Advancement Office is a vital hub connecting Mercy High School with its alumnae, families, supporters, and the broader community. Our primary purpose is cultivating relationships and securing resources to support Mercy’s mission, vision, and strategic goals. By focusing on four key areas, the Advancement Office strives to foster a strong foundation for sustainable development and progress.

  • Fundraising:

The Advancement Office is pivotal in raising funds to support Mercy's programs and initiatives. These funds are essential for providing tuition assistance and scholarships, upgrading facilities, investing in technology, and supporting extracurricular activities, among other critical projects. The office coordinates fundraising campaigns, alumnae giving programs, and philanthropic partnerships to ensure Mercy High School has the resources to offer an outstanding education to our students.
  • Alumnae Engagement:

Our more than 8,000 alumnae are a source of strength and pride for Mercy High School. The Advancement Office organizes class reunions, networking events, and other activities to keep alumnae connected to Mercy High School and our Mercy Girls as they share their valuable expertise and experience.
  • Parent/Guardian Relations:

The Advancement Office strives to build positive and collaborative relationships with parents and guardians. Communication and involvement opportunities create a strong partnership between Mercy High School and families, engaging parents/guardians in  significant roles in supporting various school initiatives and enriching the educational experience of their daughters. The Advancement Office is a strong partner to the Mercy High School Mothers’ and Fathers’ clubs.
  • Community Outreach:

As an anchor institution in Northeast Baltimore, Mercy High School is committed to being a good neighbor. The Advancement Office partners with the Frances Warde Service Learning Program and other school offices in supporting outreach inititiatives, partnerships with local organizations, and events that help strengthen our community.
The Advancement Office is a fundamental component of Mercy High School’s success. By strategically engaging with alumnae, parents, donors, and the community, we hope to secure the necessary resources to provide an exceptional learning environment for our Mercy Girls and further our mission as a leading educational institution.

We remain committed to working closely with the entire school community to drive growth, excellence, and a bright future for our Mercy Girls!
